At Groupform, we support artists and collectors through care, transparency, and direct connection. Our goal is not just a successful transaction, but a meaningful exchange rooted in respect for the work and the people behind it.

Viewing & Buying Artwork

We strongly encourage local sales and in-person viewing whenever possible. Seeing work in person allows collectors to experience scale, texture, material presence, and nuance that images can never fully capture. It also creates space for conversation — between artist and collector — which we believe is essential to understanding and stewarding art well.

Collectors are encouraged to reach out to artists directly before purchasing. Questions about color, surface, framing, installation, or process are welcome. Many artists are happy to share additional images, discuss the work in more depth, or explore commissions if a piece you love isn’t quite the right size or format.

If you see something that resonates, start a conversation. Connection is part of the work.

Commissions & Requests

Groupform supports direct commissions and collector requests. Artists may respond individually or collaborate in groups to take on larger or more complex projects. This allows collectors to engage with artists early in the process and supports work made with intention rather than speed.

Shipping

When shipping is required, artworks are shipped directly from the artist’s studio. Shipping arrangements, costs, and timelines are determined on a case-by-case basis between the artist and collector, reflecting the size, material, and nature of the work.

We encourage thoughtful handling, insured shipping, and trackable services to ensure the work arrives safely. If you are unsure how to proceed, please contact us and we will help facilitate communication.

Returns

We want collectors to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase.

If a work does not meet expectations, returns are accepted within 20 days of purchase. Returned items must be in the same condition as received and sent back in the original packaging, insured, and shipped using a trackable service. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Once the artwork is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment within one week.

Gifts

If an artwork was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, a gift credit will be issued upon return.

If the order was not marked as a gift, the refund will be returned to the original purchaser.

Security & Privacy

We take security and privacy seriously. All payment transactions are securely processed through Shopify, a trusted third-party platform that encrypts and protects credit card information.

We do not sell or share personal data or email addresses. If you do not opt in to communications, you will not receive them.
